"I go by the name D Tru and am a musician from the midwest. I put out a style of music that is not like many. In my material my focus is to have the listener leave after listening with a new perspective on life and everyday situations that life brings upon us. I look to make my music realevant to our modern culture but also stay true to who I am which is rare these days. I understand it would be easy for me to sell out to the music mainstream and gain the fame but doing so would leave a heavy burden on my conscience."
