Hey everyone! I haven't posted a new blog in a while, I have just been super busy! But tonight I was inspired to stop what I was doing and post this....
There are times I look around at artist in not only the Christian Hip Hop industry ,but in the mainstream industry, and some people are focused on getting THEIR music out and only their music. I'm not saying everyone does this, and I see it more in mainstream than the Christian industry. I hate to break it to you , but sometimes you have to show a little love to get a little. Now, I know some of you are going to give me a little grief and say "Well Tiffany, I see D Tru and Royal Family all over your stuff". My answer to that is "Yes, I do promote some, more than others." God brought Jerry (DTru) into my life for a reason. In a sense he saved me from myself! D Tru introduced me to his label Royal Family and they welcomed me with open arms! I have so much love and respect for everyone involved! By no means am I targeting anyone specifically. Just please, instead of focusing on YOURSELF all the time, spread the love to others too.
Now, mainly referring to the Christian industry, or anyone who is wanting to "change people lives" for the better. We all may come from different states, neighborhoods, backgrounds, races, and some may be more priveledged than others,but we all have something in common. ONE love, for our Father. ONE goal, to show people the love of Christ through music. And ONE life to complete our goal in. Let us all UNITE and conqure. Stop just promoting your music, your radio station, and your record label. We aren't doing this for OURSELVES. Always remember who gave you, your talent in the first place.
